Role & Responsibilities

  • Review engineering specs, IEEE Standards, & devise overall test  strategy for new products
  • Integrate new equipment and develop test systems and environments
  • Leverage automation to implement test strategy & improve productivity
  • Test product’s compliance to internal specs as well as industry standards
  • Provide detailed issue mitigation & drive issues to closure
  • Document test plans, procedures, & test reports
  • Help root cause field issues & support customer escalations
  • Work cross functionally with system designers, diagnostics engineers, customer escalation engineers, & external vendors to ensure robust test methodology & timely issue mitigation resulting in high product quality

 

Preferred Qualifications

  • BSEE/CE with 2-4 years of experience or MSEE/CE with 1-2 years experience.  AA degree with relevant experience can also be considered
  • Hands on experience with electrical and optical test & measurement equipment.  Labview knowledge is a plus

 

Desired Skills

  • Hands on experience with electrical and optical test & measurement equipment – oscilloscopes w/CDR, network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, noise generators, traffic generators (Ixia, Spirent), BERT, etc.
  • Knowledge of fundamental hardware blocks & subsystems – CPU/microcontrollers, LVDS signaling, PCIe, USB, clocking, basic signal integrity & power issues

EDVT/MDVT Test Engineer

Roles & Responsibilities:

– Perform optical transceiver module validation in system level EDVT / MDVT (Electrical/Mechanical Design Verification Test)

– Configure and execute tests on multiple Cisco switches/routers

– Develop and execute tests using automation platform

– Operate and debug the testing equipment and stations to resolve testing issue

– Provide detailed issue details and description, and drive issues to closure

– Write test report and document the test procedure and result

Preferred Qualifications:

– Hands on experience with basic networking on various Cisco networking platforms, including Cisco IOS/NXOS configuration

Mechanical Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated mechanical design engineer that will mainly be responsible from carrying out various types of engineering works on Cisco hardware development. Responsibilities for this position include but not limited to:

  • Working closely with the engineering teams to design test matrices and schedule resources/hardware/software.
  • Deliver practical solutions and concepts during brainstorming sessions.
  • Demonstrate working knowledge in manufacturing/part tolerances, and tolerance loop analysis.
  • Regularly review and provide feedback during PCBA development process using DXF/IDF exchange. Designing PCBs, stand-alone chassis, modular chassis, and hot-pluggable modules
  • Perform detailed MCAD product layout studies to ensure project objectives are met and work on the detail fabrication drawings (sheet-metal, plastic, cable, labels, etc.) and assembly drawings required for project prototype release

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Minimum Qualifications BSME in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience in a product development and/or qualification environment.
  • Must have PTC’s Creo based design experience with 2+ years.

RF Compliance Test Engineer

Job Description

  • Hands-on experience of DFS testing , Adaptivity testing and other RF compliance test cases
  • Familiar with Compliance testing as per ETSI, FCC and other world wide regulatory standards

Hardware Design Engineer

  • Experience in designing with x86 and/or ARM processors

EDVT Engineer

Role & Responsibilities:
* Participates on a project team of engineers involved in the specification, design, development, and test of hardware. Defines the unit and system level test processes and procedures.
* Responsible for unit and system level test architecture design (what to test and how to test to exercise all the components on a board). Writes complete unit and system level test plans for an entire product family.
* Performs complex system level unit and integration test. Debug/Mitigate complex system level problems.
* This engineer will work closely with hardware design engineers, software/diagnostic engineers, and manufacturing test engineers to determine a product test strategy, develop the necessary scripts, test the products, and drive any issues to resolution for successful release to manufacturing.

Product Safety Test Engineer

The ideal candidate would have 2-5 years of product safety testing or equivalent.

Knowledge of basic safety standards, IEC60950-1 and 62368-1

Proficiency in defining tests, setting up, and working with basic laboratory tools (multimeters, oscilloscopes, dielectric withstand, touch current, traffic generators, data acquisition, calipers, thermal imaging, etc.)

Experience with the following safety tests: thermal, input current, capacitor discharge, dielectric withstand, earthing, abnormal operation, component failure, touch current, ball pressure, mold stress relief, stability tests.

Must be able to read schematics, PCB layouts and determine safety critical components.

Proven experience in providing innovative test solutions or automating tests.
