Summary:

Works under general supervision; this position is responsible for generating sales of existing company products and assists in the development of new product offerings. The Program Manager works with existing customers and is responsible for developing new part numbers. The Program Manager develops business opportunities using a wide variety of cross-functional skills including the ability to sell, provide engineering design and support services, and the ability to recognize opportunities to broaden product offering. A focal area for the Program Manager will be to grow the electro mechanical assembly and cable assembly business. Selling efforts will include providing inside and outside sales support in assigned accounts. The Program Manager will be responsible for communicating customer requirements to the various departments in support of new product development.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities included but not limited.

· Handles incoming sales calls for assigned accounts. Coordinates with all departments to respond to customer requirements. Key contact in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.

· Oversees the quote process and works to make timely response to customer’s request for quotation. Calls together the New Product Introduction Team when requesting a quote for a new customer, or when the customer is requesting technology and/or services not previously provided by PTEC.

· Completes sales orders, sales order change requests, Quotations, Returned Material Authorization and other necessary paperwork. Assures that department procedures are followed accurately.

· Recommends potential new customers and/or responds to new customer activities.

· Maintains account files and assures that communications back and forth to customer are accurately documented.

· Prepares and updates sales forecasts for assigned accounts.

· Communicates with management, and keeps management informed about all developments at assigned accounts.

· Maintains complete account profile including pertinent names, titles, job functions, phone numbers and email addresses.

· Maintains reliable and regular work attendance.

· Performs weekly backlog review to ensure open orders are in alignment with customer dates.

· Performs weekly customer focus team meetings ensuring customer satisfaction goals are met.

· Oversees the complete quote cycle including follow up of submitted quotations.

· Maintain good levels of inventory in compliance with customer contracts.

Education and/or Experience:

· College degree preferred; three years related sales experience or training.

Language Skills:

· Able to read, write and speak English fluently. Must be able to understand and communicate customer requirementsclearly to other departments in the company.

Computer Skills:

· Must have significant computer experience using Windows, Word, Excel, and use of the internet in support of job tasks.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
